About Gov.
DeSantis Governor Ron DeSantis is a proven leader with a track record of fighting for conservative values. He has served as Florida’s governor since 2019 and has been a strong advocate for limited government, lower taxes, and individual freedom. Before his career in politics, he served as a JAG officer in the U.S. Navy and was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
